Meeting at the Ministry of Culture

On January 13, 2020, a working meeting of representatives of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy with the Minister of Culture, Ph.D. Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Assistant Minister Ph.D. Hrvoje Manenica and Head of the Museum Activity Department Rašeljka Bilić Boras was held at Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia.
As representatives of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Marina Štancl, HAZU Secretary, academician Marko Pećina, Head of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy, prof. dr. sc. Stella Fatović-Ferenčić, Deputy Head of the Museum and Silvija Brkić Midžić, Director of the Museum participated in discussion.

They discussed the development of the project of reconstruction, renovation and arrangement of the premises for Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy in Zagreb, the possibilities of financial support from the Ministry of Culture and other state and city governing bodies, the tenders of the European Funds, and the next steps towards the realization of the project.

Minister of Culture Nina Obuljen Koržinek expressed her satisfaction with the results of the work of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy so far, and presented the proposal of the Ministry of Culture to cooperate with the Division for History of Medical Sciences and the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts on the project of inventorying and protection of old Croatian pharmacies heritage.
