Dear friends, colleagues and followers of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy,

Another year is coming to an end, a year in which we mostly communicated with you virtually.

Like all the other Academy museums, after the earthquake we had to evacuate the museum materials in order to protect and preserve them. The structural renovation of our building at Gundulićeva 24 is underway, where we will arrange space on the ground floor for the Museum’s permanent exhibition. Although we work in difficult conditions, we have prepared a lot of content that is already available online or will be presented at our next exhibitions. We have presented our digitized material on the DiZbi HAZU and eCulture portals, recently in the Božidar Adžija Library you could view the exhibition In a time shift: Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of the School of Medicine in Zagreb from the analog to the digital age, and we are especially pleased to announce our next exhibitions.

In the spring of 2024, we will present the exhibition Portraits of Croatian Pharmacists from the collection of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy CASA in the Klovićevi dvori Gallery. Then, on the occasion of the 150^th anniversary of the Croatian Medical Association, we will set up the exhibition Backside of the city 100 years ago: photos from the collections of doctors Vladimir Ćepulić and Lujo Thaller in the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb, which we will organize in partnership with the Association. In the fall, we are visiting Zadar, at the Museum of Ancient Glass, with the exhibition The Discreet Charm of Apothecary Glass: glass from Croatian pharmacies in the collections of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy CASA. We are happy to cooperate with prominent Croatian professional associations and cultural institutions that enable us to present museum materials to the general public and thus promote the medical and pharmaceutical heritage as an indispensable segment of the cultural identity of our country.

Thank to everyone who supports us, helps us and follows our work. We hope that in the near future we will be able to organize various events together in our newly renovated space.
