Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts hosts the 6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON REGENERATIVE ORTHOPAEDICS AND TISSUE ENGINEERING (iCRO 2025)

On November 27, 2025, the 6th International Conference on Regenerative Orthopaedics and Tissue Engineering (iCRO) was held at the Library of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts on the topic Frontiers in Regenerative Orthopaedics: Innovations Across Disciplines. The organizer is the Department of Medical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in cooperation with the Croatian Orthopaedic Society. This year’s edition of the conference is held with the support of the guest society Global Regenerative Academy, which further confirms the international significance and professional relevance of the meeting.
iCRO 2025 continues the tradition of successful previous editions, held in 2010 and 2015 in Zagreb, 2012 in Opatija and 2017 and 2019 in Dubrovnik, and is profiled as one of the key regional events in the field of regenerative orthopaedics and musculoskeletal medicine. The conference is focused on presenting the latest scientific and clinical innovations in the field of repair and regeneration of the musculoskeletal system. The main topics of this year’s edition include orthobiological preparations, joint-preserving surgery, regenerative modalities for pain treatment, and the use of cells and proteins with regenerative effects.
“We are convinced that iCRO 2025 will be a place where old and new professional and friendly acquaintances will be renewed, and that Zagreb will once again show that it is an excellent gathering place for top experts from all over the world,” said the honorary president of the Conference, Academician Marko Pećina, Head of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy, CASA.
