Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts wins first jury award at Zagrebačka banka competition MY ZABA START – CULTURE AND SCIENCE
Zagreb, October 27, 2017 – Zagrebačka banka annually announces a call for proposals for innovative, socially justified and sustainable projects called MY ZABA START. This year, the awards were presented in three categories: ENTREPRENEURSHIP, CULTURE AND SCIENCE and SOCIETY. The jury awarded three prizes in each category, and one prize was awarded based on audience votes.
The winners of the awards ceremony were officially announced at the Emerald Hall of the Esplanade Hotel on Thursday 26 October 2017.
The first prize of the expert jury in the CULTURE AND SCIENCE category was won by the project of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts entitled Creating a Permanent Exhibit Scenario of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy.
The award ceremony on behalf of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts was thanked by Academician Marko Pećina, Secretary of the Department of Medical Sciences of HAZU, and Head of the Museum.
The first prize won in the competition MY ZABA START – CULTURE AND SCIENCE shows that the expert jury of Zagrebačka banka recognized the importance and significance of the project of the Croatian Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy for the development of Croatian culture and science and for the benefit of the entire community. Therefore, in addition to financial support, this award is also a great recognition to the whole team working on the Museum project and an incentive for further work and efforts towards the main goal: opening the Museum to the public.
