This Day in History: 2025-10-29
WORLD DAY AGAINST PSORIASIS. Psoriasis affects 125 million people worldwide. Treatment can be long-lasting and accompanied by side effects, and the disease itself can negatively affect the mental health of patients and their professional and private lives. The Global Initiative of Patients ‘and Physicians’ Associations marks World Psoriasis Day on October 29, driven by a desire to better inform the public about psoriasis, ensure better access to treatment for patients, and enable them to speak openly about their needs and problems.
