Franjo Hensler (Henszler)
Franjo Hensler (Henszler), ), Croatian physician (Zagreb, 21th September 1838 – Innsbruck, Austrija, 29th December 1885). He served as a military physician in Croatia, from 1877 to 1881 he was the supreme physician of the Croatian-Slavonian Military Border and the head of the Zagreb Military Hospital. In 1879 he became a private docent of hygiene at the University of Zagreb.
He was involved in the suppression of the epidemics by the organization of the sanitary cordon of the Military Border; he wrote a series of articles on hygiene.
